1. Information We Collect
To provide the "Self-Destruct" experience, we collect basic account information including your name, email address, date of birth, and profile picture provided by your chosen social login provider (Google, GitHub, Discord, or X).
2. Financial Transactions
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your credit card or sensitive payment details on our servers. We maintain records of your credit balance, transaction history, and subscription status (if applicable) to facilitate gameplay and premium features.
3. Public Gameplay Data
Warning: Self-Destruct is a competitive public platform. When a note enters the "Arena," its content, title, and the credits allocated to it become visible to all users. Do not include sensitive or personal information in your notes.
Your username may be displayed on the public Arena and Leaderboard alongside your active notes.
4. Data Retention and "Burning"
Notes that are "burned" during gameplay are marked as destroyed. While they are removed from the active Arena, we may maintain an internal history of game rounds for integrity and Hall of Fame purposes.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use essential cookies for core functionality such as authentication and security (CSRF protection). These are necessary for the operation of the site.
We may use anonymous analytics to help us understand how our site is being used and to monitor system health. These tools are configured to respect your privacy and do not collect personal data.
6. Your Rights
You may request to delete your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting our support team.
