Rules of Engagement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Self-Destruct, you agree to be bound by these Rules of Engagement. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The "Burning" Mechanic

Self-Destruct is a competitive game of elimination. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Notes that lose a round are "burned." This means they are removed from the active Arena and the public record.
• Credits Consumption: Any credits allocated to a note (by you or others) are consumed instantly. These credits represent the "energy" used to sustain the note and are **permanently destroyed** regardless of whether the note survives or is burned.
• Once a note is burned, it cannot be restored.

3. Virtual Credits & Payments

Credits are virtual currency used within the Self-Destruct ecosystem.

• No Cash Value: Credits have no real-world cash value, cannot be exchanged for fiat currency, and do not constitute personal property.
• Strict No-Refund Policy: All purchases of credits via Stripe are final. Refunds will not be issued for credits spent, credits remaining, or in the event of account termination due to conduct violations.
• Remaining credit balances are forfeited upon account deletion.

4. User Conduct & Moderation

You are solely responsible for your transmissions. We utilize automated redaction systems to censor profanity.

• Redaction: Explicit language will be replaced with █ blocks.
• Illegal, harmful, or threatening content is strictly prohibited.
• Hate speech or discriminatory language will result in an immediate ban.

We reserve the right to "Force Burn" any note or ban any user that violates these rules without warning or refund.

5. Age Requirements

You must be at least **13 years of age** to use this service. Users under the age of 18 will have the **Profanity Filter** forced to "ON" and cannot disable redaction of mature content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

Self-Destruct is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uptime, data persistence, or the continued availability of the service.
